In the time that I've spent getting up early to do things for people that I don't want to do, I've spend a lot of time playing WWE Supercard, which I reviewed when it launched. Even though you can spend a lot of time playing this game, I get the sense that I am quickly coming up on the endgame of this mobile title. There isn't a big end all mega-boss to conquer in this game, but there is a limit to what you can do with the cards that are included in the game and I feel that I'm quickly approaching that limit. When that happens I will need something else to play.
And there is my distraction. No, not the game, I'm going to watch this Kate Upton ad on a loop multiple times.
We've all heard about online education. Some of us may be doing it right now. Well, not now now, you're reading this blog post right now, and if you're supposed to be learning something right now, GET TO IT!
There are many different ways and venues by which you can engage in online education. One of the primary ways online education is delivered is by YouTube. There are a great many lectures, step-by-step, and how to videos of how to do a great many things on YouTube.
You can even learn how to pick locks online. Why would you need this skill? In most instances, not for anything you can admit to wanting to be able to do because that might constitute conspiracy to commit a crime.
There are a great many things you can learn to do online. Join in on the fun! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going over to my neighbor's house.
Earlier this week it was reported that a bug inside EA Sports's FIFA 15 made it so that all of the players on the screen, including the goalies and referees, would congregate around the center of the field in one large cluster. The internet got a huge laugh from the video that was posted of the bug, which is embedded above. As it turns out there is a legitimate reason for this bug to exist.
When the latest edition of EA Sports's NHL 15 was released, a lot of people criticized the game for the reduced amount of game modes in it, as compared to last year's model. Consumers especially criticized the game for it not including or reducing such modes as GM Mode, Online Team Play, and the Winter Classic. As it turns out NHL 15 is not the only sports title recently released that had a number of game modes removed from it. As revealed on Redditt, deep inside the code for FIFA 15 are references to something called "Kindergarten Mode".
As anybody who has seen very young children attempt to play soccer knows, most of the games involving young children playing soccer quickly devolves into a herd of kids kicking the ball wildly, running into eachother, and then beginning to cry. Watching young children attempt to play soccer has none of the subtle graces and techniques that are seen in professional soccer, but does feature people running into eachother. This element of soccer that is rarely seen in professional soccer may be what motivated programmers to create "Kindergarten Mode" in FIFA 15. We all know that guy who watches NASCAR for the car crashed. Why not bring that lurid excitement to soccer?
Oh, right, because kids getting hurt isn't funny. It really isn't funny. Really.
One of the things that I like to watch is student films. It's interesting to see creative minds figuring out what they want to do with an artform and how to do it. Usually these film are riddled with faults, but sometimes you can find a student film that is perfect save for one slight error. For example, the film embedded below would make for a great low budget horror film, if only they had picked different music. I applaud their efforts though. This is a great student film.
Despite what you may think, this product is not one of those things that I have to go out and get. This just strikes me as an attachment that allows you to use other attachments that cost more money and have to be replaced on a regular basis, resulting in you spending more money on products for this company. Things like that don't appeal to me at all.
This, on the other hand, is one of those things I have to go out and buy. How can I resist seeing Louis C.K., Sarah Silverman, Whitney Cummings, and Hannibal Buress in a venue that is right up the street from me? There's just one problem.
This video, posted on YouTube and on The Huffington Post, brings up some interesting questions to me. Namely, there's a women's field hockey world league? And this is on television? WHERE?!? How do I watch this and how do I watch a lot of this? Please, someone tell me, I urgently want to watch high caliber women's athletics because I legitimately enjoy watching high caliber women's athletics and not because I find athletic women highly attractive.
Take your normal superhero origin story. Guy gets powers, guy realizes he has powers, guy goes out to save the world. Now factor this in: the guy has a score to settle.
Everybody wonders what it is that makes them who they are. The Hawk thought that question was securely answered. However a meeting with a boy in a hospital causes him to question everything. Why he is, who he is, what he is, and even if he is.
Eleven years after the events of Consequences Of Mayorust, The Hawk finds himself dealing with many of the same issues that many of us deal with: A less than satisfying job, co-workers of variant annoyance, and a romantic life is unhealthy at best. Thrust into all this is Madison Medina, a well meaning woman who's adversarial relationship with The Hawk morphs into a kind of friendship. Madison, in addition to learning more about herself and her abilities, help to reveal deeper problems inside the organization both she and The Hawk work for.
In every workplace there is a person. A person who doesn't talk to anyone, has walled themselves socially, and seems openly hostile to everyone. Every workplace has this person, even if you don't know of such a person, they're there. The Black Robin Christmas Carol is the story of one of these people. It delves into who this person is, why this person is, and how this person can change for the better.
There is a story. A story of pain, a story of loss, a story of unspeakable horrors, a story that has not been given it's proper attention. Some are ignoring this story. Some are unaware of this story. Some know of this story but are complicit in it's darkness. This is a story that must be told. Told so that the good can stop it and the bad can feel shame for it.
When I thought up thig blog, the name I first thought up was "Random Bullshit". Quickly I recognized that this name would put some people off. Then I thought of the name "Random Bull****". That seemed to be to much clutter. Then I was inspired with the name that dons this blog today.
