Nintendo Amigos?

With the launch of Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U came the launch of Nintendo Amiibo.  Similar to Skylanders and Disney Infinity, these figures, which are modelled after characters from Nintendo's various franchises, use near field communication to interact with supported video game software, allowing data to be transferred in and out of each game and across multiple platforms.  With this launch came an issue having to do with the method that many people are using to buy these figurines, particularly those who attempt to do so online.

We've all run into problems with Autocorrect on the various devices that utilize this.  Well, people are running into problems when they search for "amibos" on devices that utilize Autocorrect, because when a user types in "amibos" the device may Autocorrect that word do "amigos".  If a user is typing to quickly or carelessly, the user may type in "amibos" be Autocorrected to "amigos" and end up searching for things that they did not intend.

Such problems have resulted in the surprising uptick in the popularity of the following items on Amazon:
Amigos, a 1976 album from Santana

Amigo, a brand of instant coffee popular in Romania

¡Three Amigos!, a 1986 alleged comedy starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and a 1986 Chevy C/K
