Project Buy A House: The Situation: 4/16/2015

Every weekday I am reminded what I am working for.  What I am sacrificing for.  What I am putting myself through torture for.  Every weekday I am reminded what I want, and that is to be rid of it.

Rid of this situation that I am currently engaged in, over which I have no influence or say.  This thing that I am engaged in, which is not my responsibility.  This thing that I am engaged in, which is not my fault.  This thing that I am engaged in, this thing that I can not put to an end.  The only thing I can do is end my participation in it.

The person who is responsible for this situation that I am currently engaged in cannot be bothered to do anything to put it to an end, but I can do something to end my participation in it.  He will not like this.  He who perpetuates this situation will not like that I will end my participation in it.  Ask me if I care.

Project Buy A House.  That is my way out.  Project Buy A House is not how this situation will end, but Project Buy A House is how I will FINALLY be rid of it.

Mine.

This is how I am finally going to be rid of it.  This is how my participation in the situation ends.  This is how I regain control of that which is mine.  This is how it happens.  This.  THIS.  Project Buy A House: Moving In Slow Motion: 78.5% Complete
That which is mine will truly be mine.

Project Buy A House: Motivation

I've known for a long time that it's wrong to just complain about things without actually doing something about the thing that you're complaining about.  The situation I'm in is something that, for most of the time it's been affecting me, I've felt powerless to resolve or alter in any way.  Now I know different.  Now I know that there is a way.  Now I know that there is something I can do about the situation I find myself in.  The situation may never come to an end, but my participation in it will.  Project Buy A House.  That is my ticket out.

No Energy

The situation that I find myself in isn't going to end anytime soon, but my participation in it will.  Project Buy A House.

It Continues

And so it continues, the annexation of my free time.  It continues because the person who I am covering for can't be bothered to do anything, much less what amounts to his responsibilities as a man.  This is something that is going to end, not because of any effort put forth by the person I am covering for, but because of my will, my drive, my effort, my sacrifice, the things that I do because I am the only person willing and able to do something about it.

Xmas Wishes

You know what I want for Xmas?

Freedom from this DAMNFUCKINGBULLSHIT!  Project Buy A House, that's my ticket.

Perceived Free Time

I wonder if the people who operate under the assumption that during my perceived free time that I am always ready, willing, and available to do things for them that when I accomplish Project Buy A House that situation is going to end.  I don't think they know that, and when they come realize that it's gonna suck for them.  Not me because I'll finally be rid of that shit, but it's gonna suck for them.  Too bad.

$4,975.47

And so happens another annexation of my morning.  Another instance where my perceived free time is taken away because somebody else can't be bothered to do the things that are their responsibility to do, not mine.  This is what I'm working for.  This is what I'm sacrificing for.  This is what I'm pursuing Project Buy A House for, so that I might finally be rid of this shit.  $4,975.47  That's how close I am.  Four thousand nine hundred seventy-five dollars and forty-seven cents.  I am that far away from my Sanctuary.

$5,528.31

$5,528.31.  That's how far away I am from amassing the money in order to accomplish Project Buy A House.  Five thousand five hundred twenty-eight dollars and thirty-one cents.  Then I can be rid of this shit.  I'm not going to put a donation link on this page.  That's something my mind won't allow me to do.  What I can do is tell people that there books that I have written that are for sale, the proceeds of which go to me.

Project Blow Up An ATM

For the past two months I've been having to get up early to do shit for people things that are their responsibility to do.  This is something that I can do nothing about, say nothing about, and will continue to go on untill the people with some real influence over this situation finally does something about it.  Unfortunately since these people are seemingly allergic to the doing of things, it is my honest belief that I will have to continue to get up early to do shit for people things that are their responsibility to do untill time ends.

This situation has made Project Buy A House even more of a priority for me.  I don't want to buy a Playstation 4, I don't want to buy a Wii U, I don't want to buy a new iPad, I don't want to get new underwear even though I am in need of new underwear, I WANT TO BUY A FUCKING HOUSE BECAUSE WHEN I BUY A FUCKING HOUSE I CAN FINALLY BE IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF WHEN I FALL ASLEEP AND WHEN I WAKE UP!

Over Twenty Bank ATMs Were Lately Blown Up In Russia To Get Cash

Huh.  You know, I'm about five thousand dollars away from at long last amassing enough money for a downpayment for a house.  Hmmmmmmmmmm.  Interesting.

Ideally
I'd be on a couch
A soft and warm one
I'd have fallen asleep
Watching some less than satisfying drama

I'd be asleep
Only to wake up later and go to sleep again
I'd be alone, but okay with it
At least for the time being
Ideally I'd be temporarily asleep
But I'm not
Instead I'm awake because of things outside my control

Now you know why I'm pursuing Project Buy A House
I want to put myself in my ideal
I want to put myself
On that couch
Soft and warm
Asleep
I want to put myself to sleep
Yes
That is the ideal

I'm Taking Lessons!

For a while now I've been thinking about buying a motorcycle.  I'd have to learn how to ride one first, which isn't hard given the lessons that I have available to me.  All I really need is enough money that is not already allocated for Project Buy A House, freetime that is not annexed by my family, and the will to go through with it.

COOL!  I wanna ride a motorcycle now!  NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Project Steal A House

Now that I have great motivation for pursuing Project Buy A House, I want to accomplish this goal in an expedited manner.  One of the ways that I can accomplish this is through illegal means.  There are any number of illegal options that I can pursue, but I want to pursue an option that has little to no risk and involves a certain level of technical knowhow.

Crooks Have Started Rooting ATMs to Steal Cash

And, with minimal digging, I'm sure I can find instructions.

Revival Of Project Buy A House

Last night I came to a realization.  I realized what I want and I realized under what circumstances that I can achieve it.  It's something that you might think is simple, but when you actually attempt to achieve it you come to realize just how hard this goal may be.

Okay, maybe not the married part, but the living alone part that is possible.  Hard but possible.  All I need to do is accomplish Project Buy A House.

Next Week?

As I've demonstrated before, the recently announced golf sim The Golf Club is a game that I'm looking forward to.  The announcement that was made about this game yesterday is somewhat troubling to me.

The Golf Club launching Aug. 19 on Xbox One and PC, later in August on PS4

After months of no news on this title, HB Studios announced that The Golf Club is coming out on Tuesday.  This Tuesday.  Not next Tuesday, or a Tuesday in the Spring, or a Tuesday coming up in time for the holiday season, this Tuesday.  As a person who allegedly lives within a budget, I don't like this announcement.  I mean, I'm still pursuing Project Buy A House.  I can't be making video game purchases at the drop of a hat.  I need to plan things out in advance, and I bet I'm not alone with this.  I'm predicting that sales of this game will be soft due in no small part to the fact that very few people knew before this week that this game was coming out.

I don't really have a ending for this blog post.  Hey look, a puppy!

Distracted Donations

I'm distracted right due by the shopping process in Project Buy A House, as well as by The Open Championship, but I did hear about the plane disaster in Ukraine.

Moving In Slow Motion: 100% Complete

This blog post is going up a little bit late, and it's rather short.  That's because yesterday Moving In Slow Motion was completed.  Moving In Slow Motion was the portion of Project Buy A House that involved me saving enough money for a down payment for a house.  I knew going in that this was going to be the thing I would be spending the most time doing in my pursuit of Project Buy A House, and I was right.  Now I have a down payment, I have a pre-approval for a loan, and now I'm going to go shopping.  I'm meeting with realtors, and I'm going shopping.  This is a something that I've been working on for a long time, and I expect this not to be the end, but I can see the end in sight.  I know what I want is there, I have the necessary materials in order to achieve it, I just have to go and get it.  This is going to be the greatest accomplishment I will have in my life.

Okay, second greatest, but this accomplishment will help me attain the greater one.

Seventeen Questions To Live

Once again I am looking toward a magazine for questions that would be embarrassing for me to answer and would make my audience squirm.  I read the July/August 2014 issue of Playboy Magazine, the one with Bianca Balti on the cover, pictured above.  I poured over this issue looking for anything resembling a collection of questions that would potentially be embarrassing for anyone to answer, specifically embarrassing for me............ and I found nothing.  Nothing that I found in this issue constitutes something low brow that only serves to embarrass the subject.  Perhaps that is why Playboy is called "Entertainment For Men", as opposed to "Entertainment For Boys"....

Which is what Maxim appears to be, because when I went looking in the July/August 2014 issue of Maxim for embarrassing questions I quickly found the material I was looking for.  The questions I am answering come from an article done with Mark Wahlberg entitled "24 Hours To Live", which appears on the last page of the July/August 2014 issue of Maxim Magazine.

So how do you want to go?
Why do you ask?  Also, why do you have that gun?

Now give us the Michael Bay-directed, high-octane, explosion-packed version.
Okay.  Turn the camera on for three hours and I'll do nothing that people find to be interesting.

Do you have any deathbed confessions?
Yes, I am the Zodiac Killer.  Also, I am DB Cooper, Jack The Ripper, and the Walrus.  Coo coo ca choo.

Do you think that's enough to send you to hell, or will you be going to heaven?
Being an Athiest, I don't believe in Heaven, or Hell for that matter.

If you could take one Transformer with you, which would you take and why?
There's a transformer up the road that supplies power to my neighborhood.  If they don't have power where I am going, can I take that with me?

You're an avid golfer.  If you make it to heaven, who would you most like to tee it up with in the afterlife?
Someone who I could beat, so no one.

How would the Entourage crew fare in a Decepticon attack?
I have no idea how to answer any part of that question.

What about your furry pal Ted?
Is Tedakin furry?  I've never thought about that.

What did you spend the most money on during your lifetime?
I've never really thought about that.  The most expensive thing I've ever bought was Rubi, my car, but that's about to be eclipsed when I accomplish Project Buy A House.

Name one thing you're glad you'll never have to do again on Earth.
Answer these questions.

What's the wildest thing you ever did while you were alive?
This one time, I went to bed WITHOUT BRUSHING MY TEETH!  Hahaha, but seriously, Allison.

Do you spend your last day in Boston, New York, or L.A., and why?  And how are you spending it?
Given the choices, spending my last day in Boston watching a Red Sox game seems appealing to me.  But, again, why are you asking me this?  Also, why do you have that gun?

If you could come back and spy on someone who's still alive, who would it be and why?
If I wanted to spy on people I would have taken that job with the NSA.

What is your proudest accomplishment?
Paying off my car loan a year and a half early.  I could say Project Buy A House but I haven't quite accomplished that yet.

What is your biggest regret?
Answering these questions.

What there anyone on Earth you wanted to punch in the face?
Yes, and I did.  Then I ran.

Got any last words?
Look, you need to put that gun away, you're concerning me.

Staycation, All I've Ever Wanted

Since I'm not taking a formal vacation this year, I have a lot of leave time saved up from work.  I could use this time to go to a concert or other event, but that would require me to increase my entertainment budget, which is something I'm not doing as a pursue Project Buy A House.  I could stay home.  There's a lot of good TV that I have on my DVR, my Media PC is filled with movies, and I have books that I own but have never actually read.  I could take a week, or two, and indulge myself with all of the different forms of media that I have at my disposal.  I don't even have to curl up with a nice bottle of booze, the books will be intoxicating enough.  Staycations never really appealed to me before, but they seem to now.

Anti-gay group plans Salt Lake conference in 2015

I have my eye on late October 2015 for my staycation.  Something tells me there's something I want to stay in town in order to see.  Hopefully it won't be snowing hard at that time.  Snow makes protests difficult.

Project Make A Political Statement

Since I started pursuing Project Buy A House, I haven't been doing a lot of protest buying.  Protest buying is where you buy a product as a form of political statement.  Sure I switched from Coke to Pepsi last year due to Pepsi's support for the Human Rights Campaign, but all that has resulted in is me spending the same amount of money on one product as opposed to another.  I'd like to use my wallet to make my voice known, but buying a house is a long term goal of mine that I am damn sure going to accomplish.

The Sims 4 rated 18+ in Russia for same-sex relationships

I'm buying The Sims 4.  I don't care if I can or cannot run the game on my current laptop, I'm buying this game.  Okay, I might hold off untill later this year, since I am very close to finally having enough money saved up for a downpayment for a house, buy I am buying this game.  Maybe.  Perhaps.  Hopefully.  Maybe.
